Long Dawg Kennel and Ranch

This is our new barn my husband and his friends built it. I think he did a great job!

This is Ms Gertrude (Gertie). She is our Texas horse.

Meet Charlye. She is named for Ray Charles. She is blind. We rescued her from a man, who because she was blind was starving her. We brought her home and with a little TLC she has blossomed. Her favorite passtime is digging to China.

This is Tater he is a basset mix. He is my daughters graduation present he was born on her graduation day. My daughter has spoiled him rotten.I guess that makes him a rotten Tater!!

This is my husband's black lab Susie on the left and our friends black lab Buster on the right. Susie was trying to show buster how to retrieve ducks in the pond. How what fun it is to see a black lab do their job. Susie is our Ranch dog if Ray is working on something around here you know where he is because Susie is there too hoping to ride in the mule, truck, on the tractor, trailer anything moving she wants to help drive.

Sadly January of 2008 Susie was piosioned by antifreeze. She is sorely missed daily especially by her Daddy!! RIP big girl.

 Meet my son Brandon, He is riding his 6 year old gelding Redman.

 This is Redman on the left and Levi on the right. I love looking out my kitchen window to see them grazing in the pasture. It is so peaceful.

 This is Penny. We call her our little miniature grayhound (1/2 rat terrier and 1/2 dachshund). She is the fastest dog I have ever seen.

 She loves to race the horses.

 This is Brandon's boy Scooter. He is 11 years old and he is the boss.

This is Britanie and Drake. Britanie is our daughter and my right hand. Drake is from Susies one and only litter. He is a Choc lab in this picture he was only 7 months old. He is going to be a big boy!
